La notizia è arrivata martedì 23 a delegati della RSU e a sindacati: la Trèves Italia ha intenzione di chiudere lo stabilimento bergamasco di Cazzano Sant’Andrea dove lavorano 40 persone. Resterà aperto, invece, quello di Aprilia, in provincia di Latina. I due siti, attivi nella produzione di tappetini e cappelliere per auto, hanno come cliente principale Stellantis. La prospettiva sembra quindi essere quella di una conclusione dei contratti in somministrazione entro la fine di aprile e una chiusura dello stabilimento di Cazzano a fine di luglio 2024.
L’assemblea dei lavoratori di Cazzano, riunita in sessione straordinaria, ha votato all’unanimità l’apertura dello stato di agitazione con la proclamazione di un primo pacchetto di scioperi che inizieranno con le intere giornate di mercoledì 24 e venerdì 26 aprile. Tutti i lavoratori saranno presenti anche alla manifestazione del 1° maggio a Bergamo.
